ELECTRONIC TEST EQUIPMENTS

Electronic test equipment is used to create signals and capture responses from electronic devices under test (DUTs). In this way, the proper operation of the DUT can be proven or faults in the device can be traced. Use of electronic test equipment is essential to any serious work on electronics systems

Types of test equipment
Voltmeter (Measures voltage), Ohmmeter (Measures resistance), Ammeter, e.g. Galvanometer or Milliameter (Measures current), Multimeter e.g., VOM (Volt-Ohm-Milliammeter) or DMM (Digital Multimeter) (Measures all of the above), RLC Meter e.g., RLC meter or Resistance, Inductance and Power supplies, Signal generator, Digital pattern generator, Pulse generator,Howard piA digital multimeter, Oscilloscope (Displays voltage as it changes over time), Frequency counter (Measures frequency), Test probes, Solenoid voltmeter (Wiggy), Clamp meter (current transducer)
Wheatstone bridge (Precisely measures resistance), Capacitance meter (Measures capacitance) LCR meter (Measures inductance, capacitance, resistance and combinations thereof) EMF Meter (Measures Electric and Magnetic Fields), Electrometer (Measures voltages, sometimes even tiny ones, via a charge effect), RF probe, Signal tracer, Logic analyzer (Tests digital circuits) Spectrum analyzer (SA) (Measures spectral energy of signals), Protocol Analyzer (Tests functionality, performance and conformance of protocols), Vector signal analyzer (VSA) (Like the SA but it can also perform many more useful digital demodulation functions), Time-domain reflectometer (Tests integrity of long cables) Semiconductor curve tracer, Signal-generating devices, Frequency synthesizer, Function generator Digital pattern generator, Pulse generator, Signal injector, Boxcar averager, Continuity tester Cable Tester, Hipot tester, Network analyzer (used to characterize an electrical network of components), Test light, Transistor tester, Tube tester etc

ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY

Analytical chemistry studies and uses instruments and methods used to separate, identify, and quantify matter.[1]In practice separation, identification or quantification may constitute the entire analysis or be combined with another method. Separation isolates analytes. Qualitative analysis identifies analytes, while quantitative analysis determines the numerical amount or concentration.
Spectroscopy

Spectroscopy measures the interaction of the molecules with electromagnetic radiation. Spectroscopy consists of many different applications such as atomic absorption spectroscopy, atomic emission spectroscopy, ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy, x-ray fluorescence spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, photoemission spectroscopy, Mössbauer spectroscopy, Circular dichroism spectroscopy, and so on.

Mass spectrometry

Mass spectrometry measures mass-to-charge ratio of molecules using electric and magnetic fields. There are several ionization methods: electron ionization, chemical ionization, electrospray, fast atom bombardment, matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization, and others.

Electroanalytical Instruments

The three main categories are potentiometry (the difference in electrode potentials is measured), coulometry (the cell's current is measured over time), and voltammetry (the cell's current is measured while actively altering the cell's potential).

ENVIRONMENTAL LABS

Environmental testing can identify and quantify compounds and pollutants in air, water, or soil. Alternatively, environmental testing can verify that a product or piece of equipment will perform as expected once it is out in the world. This can take the form of climate testing (e.g. temperature or humidity) or mechanical testing (e.g. measuring shock or vibration).

Key Applications of Environmental Testing

Environmental Chemical Testing, Agriculture, Public health and safety, Field testing, Petroleum, among others.

Key instrumentation used in and out of the lab include sample prep equipment, temperature chambers, biofuel analyzers, balances, evaporators, and stability chambers; and particle counters, pH meters, and refractometers, often in handheld versions for field testing. GC systems, autosamplers, and software are also commonly used in environmental testing, along with HPLC systems for carbamate and explosives analysis.Weather Monitoring Instruments, High Volume Sampler, Flue Gas Analysers, Particle counter, PM Counter, Airborne Particle Counter, Handy Sampler, Hand Held Particle Counter, CO2 Monitor, Respirable Dust Sampler, Sound Level Meter, Stack Sampler, Ozone Gas Monitor, Passive Air Sampler, Gas Detection Tube System, Digital Velocity Meter, Indoor Air Quality Monitor, Orsat Apparatus
